Location privacy notice

Scope: the Google Location context feature only. This notice describes its bounded data handling when enabled; it is not a statement that all Horizon features use the same retention or AI rules.

Information you supply

The location workflow stores the original address you explicitly save, its authenticated owner, and operational metadata needed to reopen and reuse it. A selected Google place ID and permitted usage references may also be retained. Saving an address is separate from requesting information from Google.

Information sent to Google

When you explicitly run an enabled location operation, the service sends the inputs needed for that request to Google. Depending on the operation, these may be an address or search phrase, coordinates, selected place ID, nearby category and radius, or route endpoints. Do not include unrelated personal or sensitive information in those inputs.

Google's handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, incorporated here for Google services. Google Location is distinct from signing in with Google and does not authorize access to Gmail or Calendar.

Temporary results and operational records

The initial location workflow separates temporary Google response content from your saved original input and retained place ID. Operational records support access checks, duplicate prevention, and usage accounting. Google response content is not offered for permanent RAW storage, marketing export, or forwarding to an external AI model through this service.

These boundaries do not describe Google's own retention, or data handling in other Horizon features. Contact the platform mailbox to ask about a particular record or operation.

Privacy and data requests

Use the platform contact below for questions, correction requests, or deletion requests. Include only the information needed to identify the affected record. Requests may require identity and authority checks; sending an email does not automatically change a record or another person's access.

Contact Horizon Districts

For platform support, policy questions, or privacy and data requests, email platform@horizondistricts.com.

Include the relevant page or record reference and a short description. Do not email passwords, API keys, or unnecessary sensitive information. An email request does not grant access or automatically change or delete records.
